Spoil your Guests with a Harvey Wallbanger at your next Dinner Party
I always like the idea of serving a real cocktail as a start at a dinner party. Enjoying a lovely evening with a cocktail in hand makes each guest feel extra special. A Harvey Wallbanger is one of my favourite cocktails, fresh and not too sweet – everyone likes them. The recipe below makes one long cocktail – multiply the ingredients by the number you need but be sure to mix it up just before you serve them.
200ml freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 tot(30ml) vodka
- ½ tot(15ml) Galliano
- 1 tot(30ml) cream
- crushed ice
- Blend vodka, Galliano and cream with orange juice in a blender or use a Bamix wand
- Pour into a tall glass over a little crushed ice
- Serve and listen to the “ah’s”
Note: You can crush the ice in the blender even though it is very noisy. Crushed ice is a lot nicer than ice blocks so do try to go to this extra effort.
