You’ve heard it before – food is memories. When my daughter, Bianca, left home at 17 years old I was sad. Family life as we had known it was at an end as she started her new life. Interest in food had always been a big thing in the family and our recipes were handwritten on scrappy bits of paper or old newspaper cutouts. These recipes epitomise the food we ate as a family and I hope they will be used for generations to come.
For Bianca and Sven who have brought so much pleasure to my life – this website is for you. May you gain as much enjoyment from your progeny as you gave to me. And for Neil who is a unique dad with strong family ties – the perfect partner to raise such wonderful kids.
